Located in Memorial Hall 331, the Phonetics & Phonology Lab at Indiana University – affectionately referred to as the Phonphon Lab – is one of the research facilities operated by the Department of Linguistics. The focus in this lab is on acoustic analyses, perception studies, and corpus-based study of phonotactic frequency and probability. We provide technology, resources, and collaborative assistance to facilitate and enhance research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
